• Audio Data (Voice-to-Text): Audio is captured locally and transmitted securely to trusted third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI) solely for transcription. We do not use audio data to train our own models.
• Text Data (Polishing): Text that you highlight, or the contents of the active text field where you click the "Wand" button, is processed via these AI providers to generate the result.
• Account Data: If you sign in, we store your email to manage your subscription and usage limits.
• Usage Stats: We track feature usage (e.g., "5 minutes transcribed") for billing. We do not log website URLs or browsing history.

2. How We Use Information

• To generate the transcripts and text improvements you request.
• To enforce fair-use limits and manage billing subscriptions.
• To improve service reliability (e.g., detecting API errors).

3. What We Don’t Do (Strict Privacy)

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not use your audio/text to build advertising profiles.
• We do not retain your voice or text content beyond the momentary processing time required to generate your result.

4. Data Retention & Third-Party Processors

• AI Processing: Data sent to our AI partners (e.g., OpenAI) is processed ephemerally. It is not used by them for model training and is discarded immediately after the request is completed.
• Billing Records: Basic metadata (timestamps, token counts) is retained as required for tax and legal purposes.

5. Security

We use TLS encryption for all data in transit. Your audio and text inputs are never exposed to the public internet; they move directly from your browser to the secure API processing layer.

6. Your Choices & Rights

• Revoke Access: You can revoke microphone permission in your browser settings at any time.
• Data Access: You may request a copy of your account data (billing/usage history) by emailing support.
• Deletion: You can request full account deletion by contacting support@sleekio.io.

7. United States Operation

Sleekio is operated in the United States. If you access the service from other regions, your information may be processed in the US subject to this Policy.
