How can we help?

High-quality dictation, basic grammar check, one-click polish, and instant translation—everywhere you write.

Getting started

  1. Install the Chrome extension. (Chrome Web Store)
  2. Open any textbox. You’ll see Sleekio’s small inline bar.
  3. Tap the mic to dictate. Speak naturally—Sleekio adds punctuation and casing.
  4. Select text and tap ✨ to polish tone or fix basic grammar.
  5. Translate selected text in place when needed.

Shortcut: Hold Ctrl + Space to start talking (in Gmail and most sites).

Using Sleekio

  • Voice-to-text: Clean, punctuated text with names and numbers handled well.
  • Basic grammar check: Fixes typos, casing, commas, and simple mistakes.
  • Polish tone & length: Friendly, Professional, Simple, Refined · Short/Medium/Detailed.
  • Translate in place: Apply to your current selection—no tab switching.
  • Selection-only edits: Sleekio acts on only what you select or dictate (not entire threads).

FAQ

Does the mic listen in the background?

No. The microphone is used only while recording and you control when it starts/stops.

Why didn’t ✨ change my whole email?

Polish works on the text you selected. Select the part you want to improve and click ✨ again.

Can I disable Sleekio on certain sites?

Yes. Open settings from the inline bar and toggle “Disable on this site.”

Troubleshooting

  • No mic input? Check Chrome’s site permission: Lock icon → Site settings → Microphone → Allow.
  • Inline bar missing? Click inside the textbox; ensure the page isn’t in a restricted iframe or a non-standard editor.
  • Gmail pulled old text? Select only the current editor text; Sleekio avoids earlier thread content.
  • Shortcut not working? Some sites capture Ctrl + Space. Try clicking the mic or remap your shortcut (Chrome → Extensions → Keyboard shortcuts).
  • Still stuck? Send us details below (site URL, what you tried, expected vs. actual result).
