Terms of service

The plain-language version of the deal between you and Sleekio. Last updated September 6, 2026.

What Sleekio is

Sleekio is a Chrome extension and website that turns your voice into text and makes text you wrote presentable: verbatim dictation, polish, translation, formatting, and drafting. You use it in text boxes on websites you already use. By installing the extension or signing in to sleekio.io you agree to these terms.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. One person per account; you can delete your account and everything Sleekio holds about you from the dashboard at any time.

Plans and payment

The free plan has usage limits. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe at the prices shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel; cancel any time from the dashboard and the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Prices can change, but never mid-period, and you will see the new price before it applies to you. Refunds for the current period are handled case by case — write to us.

Your content

The audio you record and the text you send to Sleekio stay yours. We process them only to return your result, as described on the privacy page, and we never use them to train models or for advertising. You are responsible for the content you dictate and insert, and for having the right to record and process it (recording other people is subject to your local law).

Acceptable use

Don't use Sleekio to break the law, to abuse the service (automated or bulk traffic, sharing one account across many people, circumventing limits), or to attack the websites it runs on. We may suspend accounts that do.

What we promise, and don't

Sleekio is provided as is. Transcription and AI writing make mistakes; the preview exists so you check before anything is inserted, and you remain responsible for what you send. We do our best to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes are announced on this page before they take effect. Questions go to support.
